In loving memory / of / my dear husband / William White / who died January 28th 1931 / aged 68 years /  Also Sarah his wife / who died Dec 16th 1933 / aged 77 years /  Peace Perfect Peace /  Also Pte Arthur White / 2/5 Y & L Regiment / son of the aforesaid / killed in action  / May 3rd 1917 / aged 25 years

Arthur White is remembered on Barnsley, St John's Church, Barebones  and Barnsley, St Edward's Church, WW1 plaque, Kingstone.

He is also remembered on the Arras memorial and commemorated on the Commonwealth War Graves Commission website.
